PICHSTOCK II UPDATES:
7/13/2009 - It's been hard to not share the idea for the final thing added to PichStock II! Had to get the
time settled but now it's official! Talking Trash returns for a 1-hour special at 7:00pm on August 5th. VCAM was more than
happy to have the show back even if for one night only. Now I have to recruit all the folks who made the show great. If
you're interested in being a part of the show shoot me an email if I don't get to you first! So excited for the journey which
is now just a few weeks away!
6/29/2009 - We are closing in
on the event of the summer! Things are pretty much finalized and in the coming days you'll learn of the two other key points
on the trip. Canada had to be scrapped as an idea due to the passport law they have now. I tried to get in on one but it
wouldn't have gotten back to me in time. Sadly that will have to wait for another visit. However the last two events to
add, including the other stuff I added to the bottom of the list for impromptu based on timing, will will really round this
thing out nicely! Also I'm glad to finally formerly introduce the world to my new roommates and co-travelers for the PichStock
II journey with my latest video! Almost a month away and I have so much to do between now and then!
5/10/2009 - What would a trip to Vermont be in the summer without
a journey to the Capital region and the Nation's Site of Excitement? Since one of the only notable things for sports in Vermont
is Thunder Road I just had to add it to my trip. I had a lot of memorable times there with friends and it's a big part of
my past. Also I thought it would be good to show my Wisconsin buddies the smallest state capital, one of the nation's best
short tracks, and let them see the backwoods side of Vermont. I look forward to reconnecting with all of the great people
that I met via Thunder Road over the years and cheering some on... while booing a few others.
4/27/2009 - Oh yes! After conferring with the 1st TDMC champ,
Justin St. Louis, I was told of the 50th Danza Cup being around the time of my visit. Since it's usually defended on the
last Monday of every month they are making an exception for one of it's co-creators. I was excited to play cards again on
a monday and rejoin the tour if only for one night, but now? I'm amped. There is rumor about making this a higher buy-in
than it's usual $20, but we'll cross that bridge when we get to it. For now hang tight as more video will introduce you to
things planned for the trip!
4/24/2009 - WOW! I'm excited
already. Last time was so fun I figured why not do it again? Ironically the best time to come falls on the same time that
PichStock was last year. This time it's for a return visit rather than a bon voyage. Aside from the things mentioned on
the side there promises to be much more in store for PichStock II. Over the next few weeks as I solidify plans I'll reveal
more "movie trailer style" videos for announcements on PichStock II.
For now I can tell you that aside from myself I'll be joined by my main two bros from Wisconsin.
Dan Young, and Neil Wolfe will be joining me and interest has been sparked in others, so more may join. These people requested, neigh demanded,
to see this "Vermont" I spoke of. I'm looking forward to showing them around Vermont as they have showed me around Wisconsin.
Trust me... this site, the videos, and the event itself
are going to be awesome/stupid so if you can't get with this, than get out!
